Negotiating Conversion Fees

Contracting can be lucrative for a recruiter because it provides a steady stream of income over the length of a contract. Better yet, recruiters can earn a conversion fee if one of their contractors is transitioned by the client to a direct-hire. You never know when this may happen, so you may want to consider negotiating a Conversion Fee Agreement directly with the client company before the contract assignment begins. By doing so, your conversion fee will already be in place in the event that the client would like to hire the candidate direct.

Top Echelon Contracting normally includes a customized Conversion Fee Agreement for the recruiter as part of our standard Client Services Agreement to the Client Company. For more information call our office and ask to speak with a Contract Administrator (888-627-3678).
